Following the OCC teleconference with Thames Water I understand that there have been no new complaints received from residents since yesterday.
Water distribution points are still in place and deliveries continue to vulnerable people and livestock .
Supply from the reservoir has been bypassed with water from an alternative supply and ateam worked overnight flushing each hydrant point so the water supply has been replaced and distribution system flushed.
Testing is on-going, with improved results, and will continue until clearance criteria are met.
Residents will be notified as soon as possible that restrictions are over; as soon as this decision is made Thames Water teams will deliver leaflets, their website will be amended and media informed.
Thames Water will then consider compensation for residents for the inconvenience.
