A329 Start Date

I have just received confirmation from the County Council that work will start on the collapsed A329 at Waterloo Bridge on 16 August 2013.

The work is likely to take eight weeks. I think it is unfortunate, to say the least, that the work has not been completed during the summer holiday as originally planned.

The existing traffic management system will remain on site for the duration.

    • LOL! I’m not sure what has happened to the rabbits, but I’m sure the County engineers will ensure they can’t do the same thing again.
Here’s looking forward to normality being returned.

      • They can be cunning little devils, I’d bet my considerable council tax on them finding a way to thwart us. Perhaps a monitoring committee should be set up?

  1. why do county wait till roads etc are totaly. past the top dressing stage.if a bit more attention and propper care and attention, it would cost less in long run
